Seydou Kone - Alpha Blondy
The Man, The Music, The Legend. Grammy nominated Alpha Blondy
was born to a Muslim mother and a Christian father and was brought up
by a grandmother who taught him to love everyone. He is a deeply
spiritual human being who has a profound sense of compassion for
women and children in need.
Alpha has great pride and eternal love for his beloved Africa, especially
his home country of Côte D’Ivoire, West Africa.
As he grew up, he became aware of Jamaica and reggae music and
the way of life of Rastafarians. He embraces all the teachings of life
and recognizes that there are many roads to Zion and also that there is
but One God, One Destiny, for us all.
Alpha is a peace ambassador, who speaks out through the words of
his songs against all wars and social injustices.
He has the heart of a warrior chief and truly believes that the only war
that we need to fight is the war against generational poverty. Alpha is a
humanitarian who has remained refreshingly humble in spite of his
international musical success.
He is deeply saddened by the suffering that he sees around him each
day, and the cries of mothers and children suffering from senseless
civil wars and the enormous greed of men.
He is the inspiration for this foundation. We honor his vision of

ALPHA BLONDY celebrated 20 years as a recording artist, with the release of his CD " MERCI", which earned him
a Grammy Awards Nomination for "BEST REGGAE ALBUM". However due to the political situation in his home
country of Côte D'Ivoire (Ivory Coast), he was unable to personally attend the prestigious award ceremony.
In an unprecedented move, the Grammy Awards permitted him to send his representative in his place of honor.
ALPHA (Seydou Kone) was later named United Nations Ambassador of Peace for Côte D'Ivoire. He made
great efforts to bring about a peaceful solution to his country's political division. As of March 2007 a peace
agreement was signed and implemented, due to the hard work of many people.
ALPHA BLONDY fêté les 20 ans d'un enregistrement artiste, avec la sortie de son CD "MERCI", ce qui lui a valu
Un Grammy Awards pour la proposition d'inscription "BEST ALBUM REGGAE". Cependant, en raison de la situation politique dans
son domicile Pays de la Côte d'Ivoire (Côte d'Ivoire), il n'a pas pu personnellement assister à la prestigieuse cérémonie de remise des

ALPHA (Seydou Kone) a ensuite été nommé ambassadeur de l'Organisation des Nations Unies pour la paix pour la Côte
d'Ivoire. Il a fait de grands efforts pour parvenir à une solution pacifique à sa division politique du pays. Au mois de mars 2007, un
accord de paix a été signé et appliqué, en raison du travail acharné de nombreuses personnes.

père chrétien et a grandi par une grand-mère qui lui a enseigné à aimer tout le monde. Il est profondément
spirituelles être humain qui a un profond sentiment de compassion pour les femmes et les enfants dans le besoin.
Alpha possède une grande fierté et l'amour éternel pour son bien-aimé l'Afrique, en particulier

Comme il a grandi, il est devenu courant de la Jamaïque et le reggae et la musique le mode de vie des rastafaris.

Alpha est un ambassadeur de la paix, qui parle à travers les paroles de ses chansons contre toutes les guerres et
les injustices sociales.
Il a le coeur d'un chef guerrier et croit vraiment que la seule guerre Que nous devons combattre est la guerre
contre la pauvreté des générations. Alpha est un Humanitaire qui est resté humble agréablement en dépit de ses
Musical international succès.
Il est profondément attristé par la souffrance qu'il voit autour de lui chaque jour, et les cris de mères et d'enfants
souffrent de insensés lLes guerres civiles et les énormes cupidité des hommes.
Il est l'inspiration de cette fondation. Nous honorons sa vision de Aider les pauvres.
